Hey, I just got a new laptop and I was wondering if you can only get 8x burners with them. I have an 8x burner on mine, but I want a faster burner if it is possible to even have a faster burner on a laptop. I know that you can have a fast burner on a PC, but not sure if you can on a laptop. If anyone can help me out that would be great.

I think you can get a higher number besides 8X, what kind of computer do you have, who is the mactufactor?

You could always call the technical support of your computers systems company.
